Two rigs on the island, two different arguments about what sound is for.
We’re honored to feature the Sole Sound System — a masterpiece crafted by legendary Jamaican sound system builder Ronald “Uncle Ronnie” Jarrett of 8 Mile Sound.
Built on the shores of Kingston and transported over 8,000 miles, this system embodies the rich heritage of Jamaican sound culture. Its unique design positions the speaker stack directly in front of the DJ, creating an immersive experience that brings the audience closer to the essence of the music.
Our collaboration with SoleDXB has been instrumental in bringing this unparalleled auditory experience to our festival.
A second rig by Function One takes the other floor: engineered for range and clarity rather than volume, so a whisper in a track still arrives as a whisper.
